The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Kwahu Afram Plains South District Assembly, Hon. Evans Kyei Ntiri on Thursday 9th June, 2022 presented Forty-one (41) motorbikes to all Assembly Members in the District to enhance movement in their respective Electoral Areas.
Speaking at a short ceremony, the DCE disclosed that, the distribution of the motorbikes forms part of government’s effort to enable Assembly members perform their core mandates in their electoral areas.
According to him, the various role played by Assembly members in the locality are very essential and therefore urged members to use the motorbikes for the intended purpose.
He stressed on the need for Assembly members to prioritize safety whenever using the motorbikes.
The Presiding Member of the Assembly, Hon. Theophilus Avor, who received the motorbikes on behalf of the members, applauded the DCE for the timely intervention.
He urged members to ensure regular maintenance of the motorbikes to help prolong their life span.
