The Kwahu Afram Plains South District Assembly(KAPSDA) has held it’s First Ordinary Meeting of the Fourth Session of the Third Assembly in Tease. The meeting was held on 5th July 2023 at the District Assembly Hall at the district capital, Tease.
The meeting was attended by the District Chief Executive, Hon. Evans Kyei Ntiri, assembly members and the departmental heads of the district assembly. On the agenda for the meeting was the delivery of the sessional address by the DCE, the presentation of the Executive Committee’s Report, briefings by the District Officers of the Forestry Commission and Fire Service and any other relevant issue raised by members.
In his sessional address, Hon. Evans Kyei Ntiri stressed on the progress made so far and encouraged more effort in resolving the challenges facing the district.
Addressing the Assembly, the District Fire Officer elaborated on the fire bye laws and entreated members to ensure that the bye laws are enforced to curtail the occurrence of rampant bush fire outbreaks.
