On the 17th of November, 2022, the department of Social Welfare and Community Development together with the Assembly disbursed some assorted items and cash to some persons living with disability within the District and some individuals who needed help for survival at the forecourt of the Tease new Market. These assorted items included: fridges, laptops, chest freezers and many others.
The DCE, Hon Evans Kyei-Ntiri and the Social Welfare and Community Development Director, Rauf Seidu charged the recipients to take good care and make good use of the items given them to improve on their lives.
